Nothocalais Cuspidata,, is one of many species in the Chicory tribe of the Aster family that have dandelion-like flowerheads and foliage with a milky latex. It's a herbaceous perennial with yellow flowers and long slender leaves. Nothocalais Cuspidata is sometimes referred to as the "Prairie False Dandelion".
