Pyrrhopappus Carolinianus

Pyrrhopappus is a genus of North American flowering plants that is a part of the daisy and sunflower family. Pyrrhopappus is sometimes referred to as "Desert-chicory" . This genus of plants includes many species that resemble and are often mistaken for Dandelions, such as Pyrrhopappus Multicaulis. Pyrrhopappus is also referred to as the 'Texas Dandelion'.
